The Audi Club of North America / RMC Ice driving schools are ready for January and February for 2012!
Audi Club North America/RMC is proud to have Nokian Tyre Company as the Official Winter Tire and a Sponsor for our Winter Driving Schools. The Finnish Company developed snow tires in the 1930’s which provide superior performance in ice or snow.
The RMC Winter Driving Schools are unique in that students benefit from the experience of our instructors that have trained in Austria under the tutelage of Audi AG’s world class instructors. Our schools will improve your driving skills in hazardous winter driving conditions, and may someday save a life!
At Georgetown Lake, participants will receive classroom instruction (teens) and also put their cars through exercises on varied snow and ice conditions. It’s a great way to feel the benefits of the quattro system. It’s a family learning experience—so bring your teens and help them become better, safer drivers!
Registration fee (per person) includes:
- Classroom session
- Lunch
- Ice driving instruction from RMC experienced instructors
Space is limited to first 25 participants, so please register early. If sharing a vehicle with another participant, please note this on the registration form.

In 2012, we'll celebrate our 7th year of winter driving skills clinics at Georgetown Lake, Colorado including the 5th year of teen focused clinics. In that time over 280 adults and teens have acquired valuable driving skills, making public roads safer a little bit at a time.
The chapter is pleased to announce that Chris Sarian and Dean Esmail have been elected to continue serving on the board of directors. Additionally, the housekeeping measures to improve the chapter bylaws were also approved. Thank you for participating in the elections.
We also have a presence on Facebook. Search for our page under "AudiClub RMC" or use the Facebook badge below.
Many of our members call states other than Colorado home, we have not forgotten about you. Developing events in other locations often presents a number of challenges. To that end, recruiting volunteers to help develop and coordinate events is very important. If you have interest in assisting in chapter development in your state, please contact
